PROJECT SUMMARY

Located around the Candiac station, a specific urban planning program has been carried out for this 45 hectare development area. As part of its grant program, the CMM selected the City of Candiac to carry out the planning of a demonstration project for the TOD area. This large-scale project involves the creation of a sustainable living environment focused on sustainable mobility and a mix of uses. This is a project of 4,500 housinf valleys, green and white roofs, infrastructure for active transport. 

Our mandates consist of representing developers with the municipality in order to ensure harmonious urban development, integrating the principles of sustainable development (economic, social and environmental). 

 

CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITES ​

     1. Social acceptability with local residents ;
     2. Negociation of memoranda of understanding for the construction of municipal infrastructure ; 
     3. Management of the density and mix of dwelling ;
     4. Integration of a level crossing ;
     5. Project management with a multitude of stakeholders  (City, Exo, citizens, developers, etc.).
