New animal feed mill and processing plant for a recently formed company, Jupiter. This company is a partnership between Groupe Nutri-Expert Bon Conseil and Mondou, totaling 90,000 sq ft.
This project was completed using the fast-track construction management approach. The building includes an 80,000 sq ft refrigerated storage area and a five-story structural concrete section reaching up to 135 ft. in height.
We designed the electrical distribution system, including the process connection, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Areas were also classified for explosions due to the presence of grain powder or dust.
The main challenge of this project was the execution of the plans. Given the tight deadlines, we had to carry out the design simultaneously with the construction of the building, taking into account the technical information for the equipment which was not available.
