As part of this major project for Jean-de-la-Mennais College in Laprairie, INFRA assisted its client with the 12,000 sq. ft. expansion over two floors and the redevelopment of 3,000 sq. ft. within the existing building to increase the college's capacity in terms of sports facilities, classrooms, and consultation rooms. Our team developed the plans and specifications for electromechanical, fire protection, security, and auxiliary services for all the planned developments. Thanks to our teams' technical expertise, we designed a ventilation system with a custom air handling unit paired with a variable refrigerant flow heat pump. Thanks to this system and other energy efficiency measures, we reduced energy consumption by 3.5 times compared to a conventional gas or electric heating system.
