INFRA was commissioned by the Municipality of Pincourt for a major project involving the renovation, redesign, and expansion of Fire Station 6, as well as the construction of offices and workshops integrated into the building.
As part of this $7.5 million municipal asset improvement project, our firm’s electromechanical team carried out the following activities:
- Layout of new office spaces
- New mechanical workshop, heavy-duty truck wash bay, and the addition of three extra bays to the existing fire station
- Layout of the kitchen area and sleeping quarters
- Energy efficiency measures using a return-air relay on rooftop units to recover exhausted heat
- Radiant flooring integrated into the project
- Change in municipal administration causing a delay prior to the implementation phase
- Preparation of plans and specifications, and support during the tendering process
- Close collaboration and integration with the architectural team
- Office-based and on-site construction supervision
