AERIAL NETWORKS
Over the years, INFRASTRUCTEL has developed great expertise in aerial network infrastructures inspection, including retaining structures (poles and anchors) and cables (electricity and telecom). These inspections can be completed on new structures installations or existing networks.

The following services are provided:

• Inspection of new utility poles, anchors and grounding installation including associated tests (compaction, verticality, length off soil, soil correction, etc.) ;
• Visual above-ground inspection which includes sounding techniques to identify interior defects and to provide quantitative results on wood integrity ;
• Pole replacement planning program ;
• Preventive examination for telecom and electricity networks (cables, poles, strand, ties, trimming, etc.) ;
• GPS surveys and data collection ;
• Road signalling.

UNDERGROUND NETWORKS
INFRASTRUCTEL also handles all the relevant expertise in order to inspect structural integrity of underground utility networks, especially manholes and underground electric chambers. Our services for this activity include:

• Municipal consent and permit ;
• Thermography inspection ;
• External environment summary (framework and lid level, conditions and positioning) ;
• Road signalling ;
• Manhole setting up according to all standards and health and safety measures ;
• Non destructive structural inspection of chamber including chimney, roof, walls and floor (fissure and crevice detection, rust, exposed armature, craters, ladder, anchors and support conditions, etc.) ;
• Inspection report including photos and/or videos.
